Sherrie pays homage to one of her favorite artists, Soren Emil Carlsen, whose painting of two brass pots and a white cloth hangs on permanent display in the Salmagundi Club of New York. Sherrie gives her own twist on this simple visual concept as she paints from her own still life and answers questions from her large audience of New Yorkers. The finished painting is shown for the viewer’s comparison.
