You asked for more landscape instruction and here it is! Bright Light Fine Art is delighted to host Kathryn Stats on March 23rd for the first day of our 2-Day workshop on Landscapes. Kathryn has developed a keen eye for the landscape and nature. She wandered the Utah countryside on her horse until her early twenties. She has been studying and painting landscapes for decades. Kathryn’s work has been called direct, honest and sensuous.

On day 2 of our March Workshop Jackie Kamin takes the helm and guides you through the concept of Composition in Landscape. Utilizing notes by Edgar Payne, Jackie helps you develop your skills at picking a good subject scene and what elements to put in and what to leave out as you create a beautiful painting.
She is joined by David and Sherrie for live commentary, plus the ever-lively Q&A you have come to expect from our workshops.
